For Immediate Press Release
The SHOWSTOPPER Tim Dohm will be out of racing for the next 2-3 months due to a second eye surgery he will be having later this month.
Tim will no longer be behind the wheel of the 17T Rocket Chassis owned by Tracy Seymour until his eye has completely healed from surgery. Tim didn't know his eye was already injured while competing @ last years Chuck Gear Memorial Race @ Elkins Speedway when he was involved in a wreck where his eye was injured again.
Since Tim's last surgery his eye has failed to heal properly so a second surgery is needed to fix the problem. The amount of time it will take for Tim's eye to heal is unknown at this time but the doctors are leaning towards a 2-3 month break from racing.
Dohm fans have no fear because Tracy Seymour has so much confidence in Zack Dohm racing abilities he is putting Zack behind the wheel of the 17T Rocket Chassis. Zack will continue to compete in the 17T until his dad completely recovers from eye surgery and is ready to race again.
The next few weeks will be busy for Zack Dohm and Tracy Seymour's #17T Rocket Chassis. This coming Saturday, April 10th you will find Zack Dohm @ KC Raceway in Chillicothe, OH. The following weekend starting out on Friday, April 16th Zack Dohm will try to make it to Midway Speedway in Crooksville, OH if at all possible. If Zack doesn't make it to Midway on Friday, April 16th he WILL be @ Tyler County Speedway on April 17th for the Topless 51. Both events @ Midway Speedway and Tyler County Speedway will be sanctioned by the UFO Racing Series.
Tim Dohm won this Topless race @ Tyler County Speedway two years ago and Zack looks to follow in his dads footsteps and try to bring home another UFO win!
