The Dohm Brothers win at Tyler County Speedway this past weekend while Tim Dohm finishes 4th @ Beckley's 4th Annual Randy Thurman Memorial.
Zack Dohm also had the same success as his Dad. Zack and his 25 Rocket Chassis supported by Dohm Cycles, Axis Custom Decals, Melvin's Transmission Services, Hoosier, RacTrack Master Prep, Simpson Racing Products, Sunoco Race Fuels, Wiles Racin' Drive Shafts was able to race his way to a 2nd place heat finish in the KOM steel block division and then backed that up with an impressive 2nd place feature finish.
On Saturday night, Tim Dohm took the night off but you could still find both of the Dohm boys in victory lane. Zack and Nick Dohm are both following in the footsteps of their father by winning races. Zack Dohm and his 25 Rocket Chassis "sealed" 604 Crate Engine sponsored by Dohm Cycles, Axis Custom Decals, Melvin's Transmission Services, Hoosier, RacTrack Master Prep, Simpson Racing Products, Sunoco Race Fuels, Wiles Racin' Drive Shafts made his first career win this past Saturday night at Tyler County Speedway's 1st ever Steel Block Mafia race paying $2000 to win. Zack Dohm was among a 37-car field that were competing to win the cool $2000 offered by Freddie Carpenters Steel Block Racing series known as the Steel Block Mafia. Zack Dohm started out his night by finishing 2nd in his heat race. This heat race finish put Zack starting in the 7th position among a 20 car-starting field. When the checkered flag dropped Zack Dohm was declared the winner. This is Zack's first career win in the Steel Block Late Model class. This first career win for Zack Dohm now earns him a guaranteed spot in this year's Hillbilly 50 for the Steel Block Late Models Along with Zack Dohm, his brother Nick Dohm duplicated his brother efforts by winning his feature in the 4-cylinder class. Nick Dohm drove his 21 4 cylinder into victory lane.
