Friday night August 29th, Tyler County Speedway in Middlebourne, WV kicked off the Hillbilly 100 weekend by hosting a King Of The Mountain crate late model race called the Brown Jug 30. Zack Dohm and his #25 Rocket Chassis started out the night by starting on the front row of the first heat. Zack Dohm was able to drive his way to a heat race win earning him the pole starting position for the Brown Jug 30. On the start of the race, Zack Dohm jumped the start and was charged with a caution. Zack was then placed 1 row back for jumping the start and causing the caution. From the 2nd row starting position Zack was able to race his way to the front and stayed there to bring home a win. Zack Dohm and his #25 Rocket Chassis supported by Dohm Cycles, Axis Custom Decals, Melvin Transmission, Hoosier Tires, Simpson, Poske Performance Parts and NRG Web Designs won a payoff of $1500. The extra $500 was given to Zack Dohm from Outer Wear Race Products. This is the 3rd this during the 2008 racing season that Zack Dohm and his team has won at Tyler County Speedway.

Saturday night August 30th both Zack and Tim Dohm competed in the steel block late model race known as the Hillbilly 50. Zack Dohm was behind the wheel of his #25 Rocket Chassis while his dad Tim Dohm was behind the wheel of the #7 that is usually driven by Nelson Freshour. Both Zack and Tim Dohm did well in their heats by finishing in the top 3 earning them a starting position for the Hillbilly 50. Zack was able to finish the feature in the 5th position and his dad Tim was right behind him in the 6th position.

The third night of racing for the Dohms came on Sunday August 31st when Tim and Zack both tried to race their way into the Hillbilly 100. After 85 cars took time, Tim Dohm was named with quick time by turning the fastest lap overall of a 12.71. With six heat races and only the top 3 transferring to the Hillbilly 100, Tim Dohm was able to win his heat and transfer into the Hillbilly 100. Zack Dohm finished 10th in his heat transferring him to the B-Main which resulted in Zack Dohm not starting the Hillbilly 100. Winning the first heat and a redraw of 2 resulted in Tim Dohm starting in the 5th position. During the 100 laps, Tim was able to battle hard with Jimmy Owens, Earl Pearson Jr and Ricky Williams all 4 fighting for the lead at the end of the race. When the checkered flag waved on lap 100 Tim Dohm was hot on Owens and Pearsons bumper to finish the 40th Annual Hillbilly 100 in 3rd place.
